Adult Recovery Houses - Two Residential Facilities for Mental Health Support

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) is seeking providers to operate two adult recovery houses providing short-term, recovery-focused residential support. The service comprises 12 beds across two locations: Mountsfield Recovery House (6 beds in Lewisham) and Winchilsea Recovery House (6 beds in Beckenham). The houses will operate 24 hours daily, 365 days annually, serving adults experiencing significant mental health distress across Croydon, Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham. Typical stays are up to seven days, with step-down admissions accepted by exception. Key responsibilities include: collaborating with SLaM clinical teams on referrals, risk management, and discharge planning; responding to referrals within two hours with 24-hour admission availability; providing at least two daily organized recovery, therapeutic, or wellbeing activities; offering dedicated paid peer support; maintaining a minimum of two waking night staff at each location; and providing furnishings and equipment.
