Dynamic Purchasing System for Schoolbooks and eBooks Supply to Irish Secondary Schools

The Irish Department of Education is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to supply schoolbooks and eBooks to Community, Comprehensive, and Voluntary Secondary Schools participating in the Free Education Scheme (excluding ETB schools) for the 2025/2026 academic year and beyond. This centralized procurement framework aims to streamline the book purchasing process for eligible secondary schools. Suppliers can register to provide schoolbooks, including digital versions, through this system. The DPS will serve as the primary mechanism for participating schools to access approved vendors and manage their textbook procurement efficiently. This is an ongoing opportunity for suppliers to join the approved vendor list and fulfill orders from multiple schools under standardized terms.
