Youth Mental Health Support Service - Tier 2 Community-Based Care

This opportunity involves delivering a Tier 2 mental health service for children and young people across borough localities. The service will collaborate with community partners including schools, youth groups, GP surgeries, and voluntary sector organizations to connect young people with appropriate mental health support and provide direct therapeutic interventions. The service targets young people and families with mild to moderate mental health needs and will deliver: individual and group talking therapy for anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma; coordination with community professionals to integrate mental health programmes in schools and other settings; clear referral pathways to specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) for complex cases; targeted early intervention support for Black males aged 5-17 facing barriers to culturally appropriate care; and enhanced mental health support for schools without existing Mental Health Support Team (MHST) coverage. This is a locality-based service requiring strong community engagement and coordination with existing health and education services.
