Mawnan Park Play Equipment Replacement and Upgrade Project

Mawnan Park is a community recreation space located on Carwinion Road in Mawnan, next to Mawnan Bowling Club, accessible via Carwinion Road and footpaths from Shute Hill and Grove Hill. The park currently features a roundabout, two swings, a trim trail, and a climbing fort. A zip wire was removed in January 2026 following safety inspections and will be replaced as part of this project. Mawnan Parish Council is inviting sealed tenders from qualified contractors for the initial phase of improvements at the park, which represents the first major investment in approximately 25 years. This phase is part of a multi-stage Mawnan Park Masterplan and will include play equipment replacement and new installations. Future phases will address additional play equipment, accessible paths, and seating, subject to securing further funding. Tenders must be submitted by the specified due date in accordance with the requirements outlined in Appendix A.
