The British Embassy Budapest is seeking a qualified payroll service provider through a competitive retender process. The successful contractor will deliver comprehensive payroll management services ensuring value for money, full compliance with all contractual obligations and Hungarian national employment laws, and high-quality service delivery. Key services required include: calculation of salaries and bonuses for staff and casual workers; computation of employer and employee contributions; generation of payslips; comprehensive payroll reporting; management of salary-related inquiries and issues; preparation of final settlement documentation for departing employees; and full payroll administration including staff registration, monthly tax and social security declarations, and deregistration of terminated employees. The initial contract term is 2 years with the option to extend for an additional 2 years, subject to annual performance review. Interested suppliers should demonstrate experience in managing payroll for diplomatic missions or large organizations, familiarity with Hungarian payroll regulations and tax requirements, and the ability to provide reliable, accurate service delivery.
