Maternity Peer Support Mentoring Service

This is an open competitive tender opportunity for a Maternity Peer Support Service operating across the City of London and London Borough of Hackney. The successful provider will recruit, train, and manage volunteer mentors to deliver one-to-one support to pregnant people and those in the postnatal period. The service will provide basic advice, signposting to services, and social support to improve maternal and infant health and mental wellbeing, with a focus on reducing isolation and facilitating early access to key services. The provider must deliver an anti-racist, trauma-informed, and systemic approach that reflects the diversity of Hackney's communities and actively reduces barriers for underserved populations to ensure equitable access. This is a fixed-term contract with a maximum value of £237,500, running for 1 year and 11 months from 1 May 2027 to 31 March 2029, with no extension options.
