    Brief

    Nottingham City Council is seeking an experienced provider to operate 20-23 residential care beds for children and young people aged 5-18 years in the care system. The service focuses on supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Providers must demonstrate extensive experience delivering children's residential services, with existing homes required to hold an Ofsted rating of Good or Outstanding (newly registered provision should target this rating). Services will be delivered through Ofsted-registered homes rated Good or above, organized in units of 2-4 beds per home, located within 4 miles of Nottingham City border with limited exceptions. The contract runs for an initial 3-year term from 1 September 2026, with the option to extend for up to 2 additional years on a 1+1 renewable basis. Payment will be made on a block funding basis.
