Market Engagement for Travel Management Services

Queen's University Belfast is conducting a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise to explore travel management service solutions. This is an early-stage engagement opportunity, not a formal competition or call for tenders. The estimated annual contract value is approximately £8 million, though this is subject to demand and business needs and is not guaranteed. The PME aims to help Queen's understand available market solutions, evaluate options tailored to the University's needs, assess costs and commercial models, and inform potential future procurement decisions. Interested suppliers should complete and submit the Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire (Appendix 1) via the In-Tend Electronic System. Participation in this PME exercise does not guarantee any advantage or disadvantage in future procurement processes, nor does it preclude suppliers from bidding on future opportunities. Queen's is not liable for any costs or expenses incurred by suppliers during this engagement and reserves the right to pursue alternative procurement routes, such as national frameworks, or choose not to proceed with a formal procurement.
