Grant Certifying Officer for Fire Remediation Project at Wornington Green

Peabody is seeking an independent Grant Certifying Officer (GCO) to oversee financial certification and compliance for fire remediation works at Wornington Green, funded through the Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS). The successful consultant will verify that all project costs are eligible, properly documented, and directly support the approved remediation scope. Key responsibilities include monitoring project progress, confirming adherence to the Grant Funding Agreement (GFA), and ensuring compliance with Homes England and Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) requirements. The GCO must categorize and report on both eligible and non-eligible costs, manage documentation using Peabody's contract management software where available, and maintain accurate financial records for public fund accountability. The appointed consultant will enter into formal agreements with both Peabody and the government. Candidates should be suitably qualified and experienced in grant certification, financial oversight, and compliance management for public-funded construction projects.
