    Brief

NHS England is seeking an evaluation of the ACT NOW acronym, a clinical and patient-developed tool designed to support rapid and effective responses to sickle cell crises for children and adults with sickle cell disease. The acronym was developed following the 'No One's Listening' report and has been piloted across fourteen sites since May 2024, with additional sites joining in autumn 2024. The evaluation will assess the impact and effectiveness of ACT NOW across pilot sites and provide evidence to inform further roll-out to additional NHS locations. Successful suppliers will measure implementation outcomes, clinical effectiveness, patient experiences, and provide recommendations for wider adoption and sustained impact.
