Independent Committee Members for Sellafield Nuclear Safety and Security

Sellafield Ltd is seeking independent members for two advisory committees: the Nuclear Safety Committee (SLNSC) and the Nuclear Security Committee (SLNSyC). Independent members will provide objective, expert advice on nuclear safety and security matters. Key responsibilities include attending pre-engagement workshops and site visits, reviewing technical documentation, actively participating in scheduled committee meetings, and attending ad-hoc meetings as required. This is an advisory role offering the opportunity to influence nuclear safety and security standards at a major UK nuclear facility. Ideal candidates will have relevant expertise, the ability to provide impartial counsel, and availability for ongoing engagement with Sellafield Ltd operations and governance.
