Community-Based Eating Disorder Support Service

The Humber and North Yorkshire Specialist Mental Health Provider Collaborative is seeking a supplier to deliver an Adult Eating Disorder Alternative to Hospital Admission (AL2A) service, including First Episode Rapid Early Intervention for Eating Disorders (FREED). This service will provide intensive, time-limited, community-based interventions designed to prevent hospital admissions, support patients stepping down from inpatient care, and reduce the need for out-of-area placements. Key objectives include reducing avoidable hospital admissions, shortening inpatient stay durations, improving patient outcomes and experience, decreasing out-of-area referrals, and achieving cost efficiency through preventative investment. The service will serve adults with eating disorders across the Humber and North Yorkshire region.
