Replacement of Heating and Hot Water Equipment at Children's Health Ireland Temple Street

This project involves the complete replacement, supply, and installation of Low-Pressure Hot Water (LPHW) and Domestic Hot Water (DHW) mechanical equipment in Mechanical Plant Rooms No. 5 and No. 6 at Children's Health Ireland (CHI) at Temple Street. The scope includes replacing eight gas boilers with associated pumps, fourteen LPHW and DHW distribution pump sets, and one Lochinvar gas-fired DHW heater. Additional work encompasses all necessary pipework modifications, structural supports, electrical wiring and containment, insulation of exposed pipework and components, and the upgrade of control valves and actuators across thirteen LPHW and DHW systems. The project concludes with comprehensive testing, recommissioning, and validation of the Building Management System (BMS) control strategy and all associated field control devices to ensure optimal system efficiency and reliability.
