Managed Uniform and Equipment Service for Merseyside Police

Merseyside Police is seeking a service provider to manage its uniform stores operation, serving approximately 5,000-6,000 officers and staff across the force. The successful provider will be responsible for: (1) storing and distributing uniforms, equipment, body armour, and stationery; (2) implementing a stock control and forecasting system with management reporting capabilities; (3) operating an electronic ordering portal for direct staff access; (4) providing on-site fitting services for new recruits and existing officers; (5) managing safe and secure disposal of obsolete items; and (6) offering seamstress services including insignia attachment, medal ribbon sewing, and embroidery work for badges, sliders, and tunic patches. The service will require robust inventory management, efficient distribution logistics, and tailoring capabilities to support Merseyside Police operations.
