    Brief

Rossett Community Council is inviting tenders from experienced playground contractors to redesign and redevelop the children's play area at Rossett Park. The project aims to create an attractive, inclusive, and accessible play space for older children (aged 8+) that offers challenging, imaginative, and sensory play experiences while respecting the park's existing character. This complements the recently installed toddler area and encourages older children to engage with the community's green spaces. The successful contractor must provide comprehensive services including: equipment removal, design input, supply and installation of new inclusive play equipment, safety surfacing, accessible pathways, site furniture, landscaping and biodiversity improvements, retention and incorporation of heritage features, full compliance with BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177 standards, and practical completion with inspections and certification. Contractors must demonstrate proven experience delivering high-quality, inclusive playground projects for local authorities, community councils, or equivalent public sector clients.
