Framework Supply of Musical Instruments for UK Education Sector

ESPO, the trading department of Leicestershire County Council, is conducting preliminary market engagement to establish a framework agreement for supplying musical instruments and related products to the UK education sector. This non-profit organization, jointly owned by six local authorities, operates a catalogue of over 28,000 products and serves educational institutions nationwide. The framework will cover musical instruments and equipment for early years, primary, and secondary schools. Suppliers will deliver products to ESPO's Leicester distribution centre, from which they are distributed to customers throughout the UK. Orders are placed based on customer demand, and products are purchased for resale. The proposed framework is organized into six lots: (1) percussion assorted products and class packs; (2) tuned percussion, drums, and world percussion instruments; (3) tuned instruments, recorders, stringed instruments, ukuleles, guitars, and keyboards; (4) trolleys, cabinets, storage, and music stands; (5) electronic equipment including amplifiers, microphones, and PA systems; and (6) brass and woodwind instruments. Lot structures may be subject to amendment in the final tender invitation. This is a pre-market engagement notice, not a tender call.
