    Brief

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking to gather information from potential providers of supported accommodation services for young people aged 16-25. This is a market engagement exercise, not a formal tender, to help the council understand available options and refine its procurement strategy before launching an official procurement process. Service Overview: The council plans to re-commission 9 units of supported accommodation from a single location in Wrexham. The service will support vulnerable young people to develop independent living skills, manage finances, understand tenancy responsibilities, and reduce homelessness. Key Details: - Service focuses on eligible housing-related support funded through Housing Support Grant - Accommodation and housing management costs are not included in the service contract - Service provider must work with a Registered Social Landlord for property management - Meetings will be arranged on a case-by-case basis via Teams (no cost reimbursement provided) - This market engagement does not commit the council to issuing a formal tender How to Participate: Interested organisations should contact Marc.Johnson@wrexham.gov.uk with a brief description of their organisation and service offering to request a meeting. The council cannot guarantee meetings with all interested parties due to location and availability constraints. Note: Contract values and dates are estimates only. The actual contract value at tender stage may differ from current threshold classifications.
