Childcare Training Provider - Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid Courses

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking an experienced training provider to deliver statutory childcare training courses to the early years and childcare workforce. The provider must deliver a minimum of 6 courses in each of the following areas: Group B (Level 2) Safeguarding Intermediate Course, Group C (Level 3) Safeguarding Advanced Course, Emergency Paediatric First Aid, and Full Paediatric First Aid. All courses must comply with the National Minimum Standards for Regulated Childcare 2023. The training provider is responsible for booking and paying for training venues and must offer flexible scheduling including daytime, evening, and weekend sessions to accommodate workforce needs. Each course must accommodate a minimum of 8 participants. The provider must be capable of delivering training in Welsh where required and must collect and provide participant evaluation feedback to the Council following each course completion. Lot 1 covers safeguarding courses ranging from 4-6 hours to 2 days in duration, while Lot 2 covers paediatric first aid courses ranging from 6 to 12 hours in duration.
