Construction Management Services for Renewable Energy Projects - Market Engagement Event

Great British Energy (GBE), the UK's new publicly owned energy company, is hosting an early market engagement event to identify construction management and client representative service providers. GBE is seeking partners to manage the delivery of renewable energy projects including solar, wind, energy storage and other clean energy assets across the UK. The successful provider(s) will act as the Employer's representative, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget and in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Services required may include: health, safety and environmental oversight; pre-construction planning and execution plan development; on-site and off-site construction phase management; contract administration; and handover/close-out services. GBE is exploring whether one organisation or consortium can deliver all services or if a multi-supplier approach is preferable. The company anticipates construction to commence within the next few years with projects potentially structured as either multi-contract deliveries or Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts. This market engagement event is designed to gather industry feedback on service requirements, delivery models, and potential local benefits for the Aberdeen area.
