Engineering Consultant for Knocknageragh Bridge Expansion Project

Tipperary County Council seeks an Engineering Consultant to provide comprehensive services for the expansion of Knocknageragh Bridge on the R433 regional road between Templemore and Clonmore. The consultant will support all project phases including planning, design, tender evaluation, construction oversight, and handover. The bridge is a single-arch limestone masonry structure spanning 7 meters across the River Suir, currently 6.52 meters wide overall with a 5-meter carriageway. It carries 2,001-5,000 vehicles daily and serves as a critical link between Templemore and Rathdowney. The bridge features 900mm high parapets, 370mm width, and zero-degree skew.
