The bridge is a single-arch limestone masonry structure spanning 7 meters across the River Suir, currently 6.52 meters wide overall with a 5-meter carriageway. It carries 2,001-5,000 vehicles daily and serves as a critical link between Templemore and Rathdowney. The bridge features 900mm high parapets, 370mm width, and zero-degree skew.
