Design and Project Management Services for New Municipal Cemetery in Letterkenny

Letterkenny Municipal Council is seeking a qualified design team to provide comprehensive architectural and project management services for the development of a new municipal cemetery in County Donegal, Ireland. The scope includes: designing and managing construction of approximately 2,500 burial plots; creating a memorial garden with columbarium facilities; building a reception/office administration building; constructing a memorial service building with public restrooms; and providing a maintenance, operations, and storage facility with service yard. Additional requirements include on-site parking, roof-mounted solar panels where feasible, landscaping, drainage systems, and storm water attenuation. The site will connect to public mains utilities or require on-site treatment systems. The design team will manage vehicular access from Leck Road and coordinate pedestrian and cycle connections with the Southern Network Roads project. The successful contractor will guide the project through all five stages of the Capital Works Management Framework, providing design specifications, procurement oversight, and construction supervision. This is a significant infrastructure project requiring demonstrated experience in cemetery design, civil engineering, and large-scale municipal development.
