Community Money Education and Early Intervention Advice Programme

The Council is commissioning a preventative money education and early intervention programme to be delivered by Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations. The programme will provide financial education, build money confidence, and identify financial risk early, helping residents avoid unmanageable debt and crisis before they need specialist advice services like Citizens Advice. The Council values VCFSE organisations' ability to deliver trusted, culturally appropriate, and accessible support within communities. The successful provider will deliver a locally embedded, partnership-led, prevention-focused model aligned with neighbourhood networks. This tender is reserved for VCFSE organisations and SMEs based in the Borough of Barking and Dagenham, in accordance with PPN 005 (Reserving below threshold procurement).
