Pre-Wet Salt Saturator Maintenance Services

Worcestershire County Council is seeking a maintenance service provider for six brine saturators located across its highway depot network. These saturators are critical equipment that produce de-icing brine for winter road treatment operations. The contract includes planned preventative maintenance inspections, pre-season servicing and commissioning, mid-season inspections, season shutdown inspections with condition reporting, emergency call-out response, fault diagnosis and repair services, repair reporting and technical support, supply of replacement parts and consumables, and performance monitoring against agreed Key Performance Indicators. All work must comply with health and safety requirements. The service provider must have specialist knowledge of saturator equipment, access to genuine replacement parts, trained personnel, and the ability to respond to emergency repairs. This is a direct award contract with Peacock Salt Ltd, the original equipment manufacturer, to ensure continuity of service for this critical winter maintenance asset.
