Urgent Respiratory Care Hub - Driffield

This is an opportunity to deliver an Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) service in Driffield that provides same-day assessment and care for patients with acute respiratory conditions. The service will serve both adults and children (aged 1 year and over) presenting with urgent respiratory needs. Key requirements include: offering same-day access to clinical assessment by appropriate healthcare professionals; providing face-to-face evaluation, early intervention, and treatment; enabling access to secondary care support and diagnostic testing (including point of care testing) when clinically indicated; reducing demand on primary care services; and ensuring equitable access to eliminate health inequalities. The service aims to ensure patients receive care in the right setting at the right time, thereby relieving pressure on emergency departments and other parts of the healthcare system while improving patient outcomes.
