    Brief

The Catterick Integrated Care Centre (CICC) is a new joint MOD/NHS healthcare facility opening on 1st September 2026. This procurement is for the supply and installation of Group 3 furniture to support the facility's full operation. Background: A condition assessment confirmed that existing furniture in current healthcare facilities has exceeded its serviceable life and poses health and safety risks. The new facility will significantly expand capacity with additional clinical areas, office spaces, staff rest rooms, meeting rooms, and an enlarged waiting area serving Medical, Dental, and Community Mental Health departments. Scope: The Authority seeks to procure two categories of furniture: 1. Waiting Area Furniture (Group 3): This includes both CORE and NON-CORE items for the designated colour-coded wayfinding zones. All items must be wipeable with vinyl covering and comply with NHS Infection Prevention Control standards (RM6308 Framework Schedule 1, Para 5.36.1.2). Delivery and installation required by 1st September 2026. 2. Office Furniture: This includes both CORE and NON-CORE items. Wipeable items must have vinyl covering and meet the same Infection Prevention Control standards. Delivery and installation required by 8th September 2026. Requirements: The Contractor must deliver and install all furniture in designated areas per the Scoping Plan, remove and dispose of all packaging in accordance with industry best practice, and provide any training or skills transfer required by the Supplier. Note: Custom-built furniture for colour-coded zones is being installed separately by Tilbury Douglas (CICC Delivery Partner) as Group 1 items.
