The Environment Agency is seeking suppliers for Lot 3 of its gas analyser procurement for the UK Automatic Urban and Rural Network (AURN). This is the Environment Agency's compliance network for reporting pollutant concentrations under the Air Quality Directive 2008/50/EC and related UK Air Quality Standard Regulations. The requirement is for the supply and installation of an ozone (O3) analyser that complies with or is equivalent to BS EN 14625:2012 Ambient Air Quality standard, using ultraviolet photometry as the measurement method. This analyser will be integrated into the AURN to support ongoing air quality monitoring across urban and rural locations in the UK. The network measures multiple pollutants including particulates (PM10, PM2.5) and gases (NOx, O3, SO2, CO) to monitor compliance with air quality standards. Suppliers should be familiar with environmental monitoring equipment and regulatory compliance requirements. For network details, visit http://uk-air.defra.gov.uk/.
