SAP Application Managed Service Contract Extension for Irish Health Service Financial System

The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking to extend its existing SAP Application Managed Service (AMS) contract for the Integrated Financial Management and Procurement System (IFMS) for three years. This contract provides critical Level 2, 3, and 4 technical support to the SAP Centre of Excellence, ensuring the stability and ongoing operation of IFMS across HSE statutory sites, TUSLA, and voluntary organisations. The IFMS supports approximately 11,000 users and handles essential functions including vendor payments, procurement, supply chain management, materials management, income services, accounting, and financial reporting. The extension will cover post-implementation support following each IFMS deployment phase, system patching, upgrades, incident management, and service requests. Without this contract extension, the system risks becoming unstable, critical operations could be disrupted, system updates cannot be guaranteed, user support would be curtailed, and the planned rollout to additional organisations would be jeopardised. Suppliers should understand this is a mission-critical infrastructure contract that prevents operational disruption to healthcare services and financial management across multiple public sector organisations in Ireland.
