The Best Start Family Hubs Grant is a national government funding programme led by the Department for Education, designed to expand local Family Hub networks in areas of higher deprivation. The funding supports the government's 'Giving Every Child the Best Start in Life' strategy and contributes to the goal of ensuring 75% of children achieve a Good Level of Development by 2028. This opportunity focuses on developing Family Hub provision across Wychavon, Worcester City, and Malvern Hills Districts through: expanding capacity of current Family Hub services; rebranding and launching the new 'Best Start Family Hub' system; enhancing parenting support programmes; developing and expanding home learning environment support; increasing outreach provision; expanding peer support delivery; and ensuring families participate in coproduction and service development. The funding strengthens partnerships across health, public health, education, and the voluntary sector to deliver evidence-based interventions for families with babies and young children. Contract value: £79,900 for the period 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027.
