Medical Evacuation Services for British Army Training Unit Kenya

The British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) seeks a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) service provider to transport patients from point of injury to point of treatment across Kenya. The service requires two rotary wing (helicopter) platforms: one operating 24/7/365 in the Nanyuki area, and another providing 24/7 coverage during exercises in either Archers Post Training Areas or Nanyuki. The provider must supply trained medical clinicians for ground ambulance transfers, including patient handovers at designated landing sites, transfer of patients from Kifaru Barracks in Nairobi to approved medical facilities, and response to road traffic incidents. The service also includes arranging patient transfers from hospitals to the designated airport for repatriation to the UK when required. This is an enduring requirement to support exercising troops, permanent BATUK staff, and their dependents regardless of active training schedules.
