    Brief

West Northamptonshire Council is hosting an online information session for organisations interested in delivering the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme. This pre-tender engagement event follows the initial market engagement in June 2026 and provides prospective providers with detailed information about the upcoming commissioning opportunity. About the HAF Programme: The Council has successfully delivered the HAF Programme for five years, providing eligible children and young people with nutritious meals, enriching activities, physical activity, and food education during school holidays. The Council now intends to recommission the programme for an initial two-year period as part of its Best Start in Life ambition. Session Content: The information session will cover the future HAF Programme vision, commissioning intentions, procurement process overview, In-Tend platform guidance, market engagement information pack review, and a dedicated Q&A opportunity with Council officers. Who Should Attend: Existing and prospective HAF providers, community and voluntary organisations, youth organisations, sports and leisure providers, SEND providers, faith and community groups, and organisations interested in delivering the HAF Coordination Service. Key Market Engagement Objectives: The Council seeks to understand market readiness, explore innovative delivery models, gather feedback on workforce challenges, raise awareness of the tender, and support organisations in assessing their procurement readiness. To Register: Email educationcommissioning@westnorthants.gov.uk by 14 September 2026 to confirm your attendance.
