Engineering Consultancy Services for Monaghan Town Southern Access Road Sections 2 & 3

Monaghan County Council is seeking qualified multidisciplinary engineering consultants to deliver design and planning services for the Monaghan Town Southern Access Road project. The 3.6km strategic route connects the N54 and N2 roads, with Sections 2 (1.4km) and 3 (1.8km) requiring progression through Phases 1-4. Phase 1 includes option selection, Phase 2 involves preliminary design, Phase 3 prepares for statutory approvals, and Phase 4 completes implementation planning. Section 2 will recommence at Phase 3. The project must comply with TII Project Management Guidelines and the Transport Appraisal Framework, with emphasis on high-quality active travel infrastructure and land activation for future development. Consultants should have experience in large-scale transport infrastructure projects and stakeholder engagement.
