Online Payment Solution for Northern Ireland Schools

The Northern Ireland Education Authority (EA) is seeking a provider to deliver a secure, accessible online payment solution for schools across Northern Ireland. This system will enable parents to pay for school-related expenses such as meals, trips, clubs, and equipment online, eliminating the current cash and cheque-based payment process. The contract runs for five years with optional extensions up to 24 months, subject to funding. The solution will be available to EA-controlled schools, Catholic Maintained Schools, Independent Schools, Irish Medium Schools, Grammar Schools, and Nursery Schools throughout Northern Ireland. While some schools have independently implemented their own systems, this EA-wide contract will provide a standardized option. The selected provider should ensure the platform meets accessibility and security standards, supports multiple payment methods, and can accommodate the diverse needs of participating educational institutions. Existing school payment arrangements will not be affected by this contract.
