Residential Care Home Framework for Over 65s in Swindon - Provider Application

Swindon Borough Council is accepting applications from qualified residential care home providers to join its Over 65s Residential Care Home Framework. This annual reopening allows new providers and previous unsuccessful applicants to gain admission to the existing framework, which commenced on 1st January 2026. Key Details: - Framework Term: Initial period ends 31st December 2027, with potential extensions up to 6 years total - Estimated Value: Approximately £12 million for 2027, with potential maximum value of £60 million including extensions - Scope: In-borough residential care homes only, serving standard, enhanced, and complex care needs for adults aged 65+ - Fee Structure: Providers must operate within the Council's published fee structure - Existing Framework providers do not need to reapply - Successful applicants will join from 1st January 2027 To Apply: 1.
