Waste Disposal Services Framework Agreement

The Council seeks to establish a multi-lot framework agreement for ongoing waste disposal services across the borough. The services required include: (1) Tipping facilities for various waste streams including highways waste, grounds maintenance waste (green waste, glass, plastics, animal waste, clothing), fly-tipping waste (tyres, white goods, furniture, timber, glass), and furnished homes clearance waste; (2) Skip hire services of various sizes at multiple locations throughout the borough, including disposal of skip contents; and (3) Collection and disposal of highways arising and gulley waste, including street sweepings and gulley emptying consisting of non-segregated waste such as sand, silt, gravel, leaves, litter (cans, plastics, cigarette butts) and other debris. Waste tonnages cannot be guaranteed and will vary year to year. The procurement will be conducted via open tender to establish a competitive framework with multiple lots to meet the Council's operational needs.
