    Brief

Trinity House seeks innovative survey companies to establish a four-year framework for conducting regular hydrographic and bathymetric-topographic surveys around the coasts of England, Wales, the Channel Islands, and Gibraltar. Hydrographic surveys must achieve IHO Order 1a/1b standards with 100% bathymetric coverage using multibeam bathymetry, with data delivered in Caris format including .csar and .hob files plus detailed Reports of Survey. Bathymetric-topographic surveys are required to support the operation and maintenance of over 60 lighthouses and critical aids-to-navigation, capturing accurate levels in intertidal zones and inaccessible areas to IHO S-44 special order standards (2m horizontal accuracy, 0.25m vertical uncertainty plus 0.0075% of water depth). The scope includes ad-hoc surveys of new wrecks and navigation hazards. All data will be shared with the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office. Suppliers should demonstrate innovation and capability to exceed minimum standards while delivering 100% coverage across designated survey areas.
