Boat Hoist for Ramsgate Royal Harbour

Thanet District Council is looking to purchase a new boat hoist for Ramsgate Royal Harbour. This new hoist will replace the current 40-tonne hoist, which has been in use for over 22 years. The hoist is essential for transferring vessels from the specialized hoist structure in the Royal Marina to the boat park, making it a critical piece of equipment for the harbour. Therefore, it must be durable and reliable. The contract is expected to start in July 2025.
