Building Energy Management System Maintenance and Upgrade Contract

The University of Edinburgh is seeking a single supplier to provide comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance services for its Trend building energy management system (BEMS) and associated control equipment across approximately 50 sites. Services include repair, replacement, and commissioning of faulty BEMS components, with optional provision for planned upgrade works at the University's discretion. The contract covers approximately 1,250 controllers and 19,000 hardware points across the entire University estate. The initial contract term is 2 years with four optional 1-year extensions (2+1+1+1+1). The estimated total contract value over 6 years is £2.5 million (excluding VAT), comprising £1 million for maintenance services and £1.5 million for optional planned upgrades.
