Supply of Multifunctional Devices and Associated Services for Star Academies

Star Academies is a leading UK not-for-profit multi-academy trust operating 36 schools (11 primary, 23 secondary, and 2 all-through) across five regional clusters: Lancashire, Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, West Midlands, and Greater London. Star is seeking a single suitable supplier through a competitive flexible tendering procedure (above threshold, compliant with PA2023) to provide multifunctional devices (MFDs) and associated products, services, and support across the entire trust estate. The successful supplier will deliver a comprehensive service including MFD hardware and functionality, leasing and capital purchase options, cloud-based print management software, maintenance, consumables and technical support, device utilisation management, and management information reporting. The trust prioritises collaborative working relationships and value for money, with assets to be proactively managed, maintained, and operated efficiently across all schools. The contract will commence on 1 June 2026 for a maximum of 5 years, subject to performance and company stability. Star will shortlist up to six suppliers (based on Procurement Specific Questionnaire scores) to receive the full Invitation to Tender pack with detailed requirements. The trust prefers suppliers who manage all contract aspects in-house; any subcontracting must be minimised and meet the same contractual terms, remaining the responsibility of the main supplier. A draft contract will be provided during the PSQ stage.
