Skip Container Collection and Transportation Services

Highland Council is seeking qualified contractors to provide skip container collection and transportation services for recyclable materials and waste management. Services will be required at Highland Council Recycling Centres and Transfer Stations on an as-needed basis. Contractors will collect filled skip containers from Council sites and transport them to appointed treatment and disposal facilities at various designated locations. The service scope includes handling standard recyclable materials, general waste, and special waste including wrapped bonded asbestos. Successful contractors must have appropriate certifications, equipment, and experience in waste transportation and management, with the ability to meet variable collection schedules and ensure safe handling of hazardous materials where required.
