Solar Panel Management and Installation Services

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a single supplier to manage its portfolio of approximately 2,725 Solar PV systems across domestic and non-domestic properties. The successful supplier will provide comprehensive services including remote monitoring, maintenance, repairs, meter management, compliance inspections, and design of new installations. The Council aims to streamline contract management, maximize energy generation and income, ensure regulatory compliance, and support its Carbon Neutral 2030 commitment. Services required include planned and reactive maintenance, solar panel cleaning, fault identification and repairs, performance optimization, grid connection support, FiT income services, and system expansion capabilities. The Council is conducting market engagement to understand whether suppliers can deliver the full range of services under a single contract or if a multi-lot approach would be preferable, along with insights on service delivery models, metering approaches, innovation opportunities, and appropriate contract durations.
