Eastern Region Track Maintenance and Renewal Framework

Network Rail is establishing a framework agreement worth up to £48 million (excluding VAT) for permanent way maintenance and renewal works across the Eastern Region. This is a nil-value commitment framework with anticipated annual spending of £6-7 million across four framework holders. Individual orders are typically low-value maintenance work with an average order value below £25,000. The framework covers a range of track infrastructure activities including: re-railing (jointed and continuously welded rail), rail stressing, component replacement, insulated block joint construction, re-sleepering, re-ballasting, switches and crossings renewals, track geometry repairs, track drainage refurbishment, way beam installation, and cable troughing. All work is delivered under Network Rail's PCL License and applies to the East Coast, East Midlands, and North & East Routes. This framework is suitable for suppliers with expertise in railway permanent way maintenance and minor infrastructure works.
