Rail Plant Supply and Support for HS2 Project

Costain Group PLC is seeking suppliers to provide rail plant and support services for the HRS02 contract, which involves Mechanical and Electrical services for the HS2 high-speed railway project connecting London to Birmingham. The scope includes the supply, maintenance, and operation of various rail plant equipment such as rail-road vehicles, trailers, flatbeds, locomotives, wagons, and welfare units. Additionally, suppliers will need to provide operatives, including drivers, shunters, specialist plant maintainers, and logistics controllers. The selected supplier will assist during the design and pre-construction phases to ensure efficient operations and alignment with the overall project logistics strategy. Costain and HS2 are looking for innovative solutions that enhance health and safety, improve installation and commissioning timelines, reduce costs, ensure quality and efficiency, and promote carbon efficiency.
