    Brief

Bracknell Forest Council is reopening the Home Care Framework to invite suppliers to provide home care services. This Framework allows the Council to advertise and award contracts for care packages. The original framework started in April 2022 and can be reopened at the Council's discretion, with an expiration date of September 30, 2027. Successful suppliers will join the Framework in January 2026 and can bid for care packages that meet the Council's requirements. The estimated value of new packages from January 2026 to September 2027 is around £250,000, but this amount may vary based on demand. The service is aimed at individuals aged 18 and older living in Bracknell Forest who qualify for care under the Care Act 2014. Care needs may include complex behaviors, and services will cover personal care and support for individuals after hospital discharge. While the service is for those aged 18+, it primarily focuses on individuals aged 65 and older, provided by CQC-registered suppliers. Note that support for individuals with Learning Disabilities is not included in this tender. The Council will follow the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contracts Regulations, ensuring transparency and equal treatment in the procurement process.
