Caherline Newtown Group Water Scheme Network Upgrade

This water infrastructure project involves the installation of approximately 3,513 meters of 110mm PE100 SDR11 distribution piping to upgrade the Caherline Newtown Group Water Scheme network. The work includes: (a) approximately 870 meters of pipe installation along the R513 Regional Road using trenchless Horizontal Directional Drilling technique to minimize surface disruption; (b) approximately 2,042 meters of pipe installation along a Local Secondary Road using trenchless Horizontal Directional Drilling technique; and (c) approximately 601 meters of pipe installation along a Local Secondary Road using traditional open dig excavation method. This project aims to enhance water distribution capacity and reliability for the local community. Contractors should have experience with both trenchless drilling techniques and conventional pipe laying methods, as well as familiarity with working on regional and local roads.
