Security and Guarding Services (Ad-hoc)

The National Oceanography Centre (NOC) is seeking qualified security service providers to deliver supplementary manned guarding services at its Southampton site and research vessels. This contract requires SIA-licensed security personnel to support NOC's internal security operations across multiple locations and event types. Key responsibilities include: access control and visitor management, security patrols and surveillance, CCTV and alarm system monitoring, security control room operations, incident response and management, and support for major public events and operational activities. Services will be provided at the NOC Southampton facility, Royal Research Ships James Cook and Discovery when docked in Southampton, and during special events. Suitable candidates should have experience in maritime security, facility protection, and event security management, with all personnel holding current SIA licenses.
