Community-Based Daytime Activities Service for Adults in Calderdale

The Borough Council of Calderdale and NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board are jointly commissioning providers to deliver community-based daytime activities for adults aged 18 and over in Calderdale. The service will support individuals with learning disabilities, older people (including those with dementia), sensory impairments, physical disabilities, mental health conditions, and other eligible needs. The contract runs from 1 April 2027 for an initial five-year term with optional extensions of up to 24 months. This is a multi-award contract with no limit on the number of successful tenderers; referrals will be based on individual or carer choice. The service aims to promote independence, active lives, and holistic support while delivering quality and value for money. Providers will specify which client groups they serve. Contracts will be awarded on a no-guarantee-of-work basis under either NHS or Council terms and conditions depending on funding source.
