    Brief

Trinity College Dublin seeks suppliers to provide, deliver, install, commission, and calibrate an Isothermal Titration Calorimeter (ITC) for protein interaction research funded by Research Ireland. The equipment must measure heat changes from protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions using isothermal conditions with active power compensation. Required specifications include: (1) new or minimally-used ex-demo state-of-the-art model with approximately 200 microliter experimental and reference cells; (2) capability to analyze macromolecule concentrations from 1-100 micromolar in the cell and ligand concentrations from 10 micromolar to 1 molar in injection syringe; (3) operational temperature range from 4°C to 60°C; (4) software that determines dissociation constant (Kd), enthalpy, and entropy; (5) advanced analytical software supporting simple 1:1 binding models as well as complex interactions including multiple binding sites and sequential interactions; (6) minimal bubble generation and artifact heat; (7) preference for system compatibility with .opj files from Origin 7 or later software to integrate 20 years of existing data; (8) new computer, drivers, and accessories. Suppliers should demonstrate expertise in providing high-precision calorimetry solutions for biochemical research applications.
