    Brief

The Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust requires a contractor to install and commission comprehensive water treatment and side-stream filtration solutions for six Low Temperature Hot Water (LTHW) heating systems across multiple plant areas as part of its decarbonisation initiative. The project aims to improve heating system efficiency, reliability and longevity by protecting systems from corrosion, scale formation, magnetite accumulation, suspended solids and air ingress. The solution involves supplying and installing ENWA EnwaMatic® side-stream filtration units with automated backwash controls, Building Management System integration, dedicated circulation pumps, and break tanks. The contractor will be responsible for delivery, installation, and manufacturer-led commissioning to validate equipment warranties and ensure systems operate to design specifications. This work will reduce energy consumption, minimise maintenance requirements, extend equipment lifespan and support the Trust's sustainability and carbon reduction targets.
