    Brief

The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage is seeking qualified contractors to develop a Moisture Analysis Report that evaluates how well different types of wall construction commonly used in Ireland resist moisture. This report will support the National Standards Authority of Ireland's review of standard S.R. 325 and help apply the 2024 Driving Rain Index to masonry construction methods. The findings will guide architects, engineers, and builders in selecting appropriate masonry and framed construction systems, pointing techniques, coatings, and external finishes based on local weather exposure and driving rain conditions. Qualified bidders should have expertise in moisture analysis, building construction, and understanding of Irish construction standards.
