Design and Construction of Asphalt Pump Track at Clifford Park

Kingsteignton Town Council is seeking competitive tenders from qualified specialist contractors for the design and construction of a new asphalt pump track at Clifford Park in Kingsteignton, Devon. The pump track will be a recreational facility suitable for riders of all ages and abilities, featuring a start ramp, multiple banked berms, rhythm sections with rollers, and approximately 100-250 metres of rideable surface. The project scope includes site preparation, drainage installation, track sub-base and asphalt construction (6mm specialist wearing course at 80mm depth), landscaping with turf, a 10-15 metre access path, optional safety fencing with meshing, and a full ROSPA safety report upon completion. Contractors must have demonstrated experience delivering comparable pump track projects and submit fully costed proposals. The estimated project value is £75,000-£85,000 (excluding VAT). Site materials can be utilised for track construction, and the final contract award requires evaluation and formal approval by Kingsteignton Town Council.
